Hey, thanks for stopping by. I take privacy seriously, mostly because I’d want the same courtesy shown to me, so here’s the short version of what happens with your info on riichimirza.com.
What I Collect?
Honestly, not a lot. If you fill out my contact form or join the newsletter, I’ll have your name and email, that’s it, nothing else gets asked for. Google Analytics tracks the basics in the background too, page visits, rough device type, that sort of thing, just enough to know what’s actually getting read and what’s being ignored.
Then there are the free tools. Run a URL through the SEO Audit Tool or type a keyword into the Meta Tag Checker, and yes, that input gets used, but only for the few seconds it takes to give you your result. It’s not going into a database somewhere with your name attached. I don’t even have a way to tie tool usage back to who ran it, since there’s no login involved.
What Happens After That?
Your message gets read and replied to by me, not a bot, not a VA. If you subscribed to updates, you’ll hear from me occasionally, SEO or AEO stuff worth knowing, nothing pushy. Analytics data helps me figure out what to fix on the site. And that’s the whole list, really, I’m not going to pad it out to sound more official than it is.
What definitely doesn’t happen: your data getting sold, rented, or handed off to some third party for a quick buck. That’s not the business I’m in.
Cookies, Briefly
The site uses them, standard stuff for understanding how people move through it. Turn them off in your browser if you want, though a few things on the site, including some of the tools, might get a little glitchy without them.
Where Outside Services Come In?
A handful of the tools I’ve built lean on other companies’ infrastructure, since building all of this from scratch myself isn’t realistic. Worth being upfront about which ones:
Google’s stack shows up a lot, Analytics for traffic, plus Search Console, PageSpeed, and the YouTube API for tools like the speed checker and the comment picker. A couple of licensed SEO data providers sit behind the backlink and domain authority checkers, the kind of companies that actually maintain that data at scale. And the ChatGPT/Perplexity citation checkers run through those platforms’ own official APIs, not some workaround.
None of these services get your name or email through me, unless you’d already handed it over directly some other way. They only ever see what you typed into that one specific tool. Nothing gets resold from their end either.
The Tools, Specifically
No accounts, no sign-ups, no “create a profile to continue.” You use the tool, you get your answer, and that’s the end of the interaction as far as I’m concerned. I’m not quietly stitching together a picture of who you are from tool usage.
Security, the Practical Part
SSL across the board, hosting I actually trust rather than whatever’s cheapest. Forms, messages, tool inputs, all of it moves over an encrypted connection.
If You Want Something Changed?
Ask and I’ll handle it, whether that’s seeing what I have on file, correcting it, deleting it, or just unsubscribing. No forms to fill out for that either, a message through the contact page does it.
When This Page Gets Updated?
New tool, new service I start relying on, anything that actually changes what happens with your data, I’ll update this page and move the date at the top. I won’t quietly rewrite it and pretend nothing changed.
