Affiliate Disclosure

Some of what I write compares tools directly, Ahrefs against SEMrush, Yoast against RankMath, that sort of thing. So it’s worth being upfront about how that works financially, before you get three paragraphs into a comparison and start wondering.

The Short Version

A few links on riichimirza.com, mostly inside comparison or “alternatives” style posts, might be affiliate links. That means if you click through and end up buying or subscribing to something, I could earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, the price is exactly the same whether you use my link or go there directly.

Not every link on this site works this way. Most of what I link to, competitor examples, sources, tools I mention in passing, is just a regular link with nothing attached to it. Where an affiliate relationship actually exists, I’ll try to make that clear near the link itself, not bury it somewhere you’d never find it.

Why I Bother Mentioning It at All?

Honestly, because I’d want to know if I were reading someone else’s comparison post and money was changing hands behind the scenes. It changes how you read the recommendation, and you deserve to know that upfront rather than guessing.

Does It Change What I Recommend?

No, and this matters more to me than it probably needs to be said. If a tool I’ve actually used and rate highly happens to have an affiliate program, great, I’ll use the link. If a tool I think is worse pays a bigger commission, I’m still not going to tell you it’s better than it is. My name’s attached to this site, and that’s worth more to me long-term than one commission on a bad recommendation.

Where This Might Show Up?

Mostly in the tool comparison articles, the “best alternatives to X” posts, and occasionally in a blog post recommending something I’ve genuinely used in client work. If I ever add affiliate links to a post that wasn’t originally written with them, I’ll go back and add a note there too.

Questions

If you’re ever unsure whether a specific link on the site is affiliate or not, just ask. Contact form, WhatsApp, or email works.
